Best Free Registry Cleaners and Best For Windows XP? My Experience

Finding a Registry cleaner can be a time consuming and confusing process. Registry cleaners remove errors and protect valuable information which makes them very useful for a majority of computer users. Some big questions are what is the best registry cleaner for windows xp and what is the best free registry cleaner. After two months of research i have a pretty clear answer.

Its important to note, free ware is designed for a purpose. An example is on a majority of registry cleaner websites, they will have a trial version. The trial version will diagnoze hundreds of problems and errors. But it can’t fix them. They have a purpose, the numbers of the errors are exaggerated and they aren’t removed, which makes you purchase the entire product. So i must say, free ware will not fix any errors or problems on your computer.

Best Registry Cleaner for Windows XP?

Register fix has been the most successful cleaner i have used on my operating system which is windows XP. The cleaner identifies errors and threats quickly and its very easy to use for beginners. It involves just one click of the button. There are no major requirements, its simple, install it, scan it and it will automatically be fixed. It was very handy when fixing my errors. I had frustrating errors and every time i opened up a windows explorer window, it stalled. And Froze. And every time i opened multiple applications, it also froze again.

Conclusion

With freeware your often not getting value for money and it can actually lead to more errors and more problems, which you should try to avoid if you have important information on your computer. Its worth finding a well known non-free ware product, and using that.

What are the best FREE Regestry cleaners and C: cleaners for Microsoft Windows XP?
My computer is running a lot slower on most programs, internet is fine, but some games and software’s are running slower (including Sims 2 and Microsoft office) It used to run perfectly on these softwares.
I use AVG free addition to clean my pc from viruses and bugs almost each other day.

A lot of you have told me on similar questions to get a regestry cleaner or a C: cleaner. I did the disk cleanup that was on the start panel, and i gained 7,000,000 kb (im not sure what the "0" were).

im not sure it has done anything though. :(

Please help, i need to know what everyone uses with great satisfaction to clean and run their pc’s better. (including anti virus programs, C: cleaners, and registry cleaners….free edition please!)

Please help, i really need to speed up my pc since i dont have the money for a new one. (ive had it for mabey 4 years)

Registry cleaners dont actually do anything useful. It was just a rumour that they did that the makers of those cleaners made up. (its also not unkown for some to completely mess up your computer)

Just defrag your hard drive. And use msconfig to disable all of the unnecessary programs that start up when your computer does. (this will make a huge difference, search google if you are not sure how to do it)

Use Malwarebytes to scan your computer for viruses. AVG does not scan for a certain type of common virus (rootkits) so can miss alot. Malwarebytes is free.
