How do a system clean from spyware and viruses. Is there a freeware?

I am having trouble signing to the Internet Explorer with my laptop. I am using a wireless network. The router and modem are working.
If you feel that it could be a virus. Then these are good Freeware programs:
Avast Antivirus: http://www.avast.com for viruses, trojans and such
Spybot Search and Destroy: http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html for browser hijackers and bots
Malwarebytes: http://www.malwarebytes.org/ for malware and bots and dns hijackers
Put all three on your computer and you will be protected well.
I’ve heard ‘Hijack This’ is good, but, I have no personal experience with it.

You can go to avast homepage on http://www.avast.com and get the free home antivirus. You just need to register it in your email and you’re done. I have it for years and it’s the best.

There are quite a few good, free spyware tools. Try Malwarebytes at

and/or AdAware at

Do you have a Firewall Installed? If not, I highly recommend that you do get one. Zone Alarm has a good free firewall at

There is also AVG AvtiVirus at
http://free.avg.com/ww-en/download-avg-anti-virus-free#axzz0cAOxjTLK
Obviously, you’ll need access to an Internet connect and if you can’t get it on the computer you are having a problem with, download to a flash drive on another computer and then install it on yours.

I use SPYBOT and have for many years. It’s 100% free and work very well.

I would download Spybot first. Run it and clean hard drive of all bugs.
But DON"T down the TEA TIMER potion of SPYBOT.
I had problems with that part of it, and the program will work without it.
Then get anti virus and do the scan.
If you have been running laptop without Anti Virus protection for sometime,
it might better to wipe hard drive totally, and start again. Some computers have to many virus’s and trojan’s that its not worth the trouble cleaning.

yes,there freewares.
If you are surfing internet frequently,i think you really should protect your computer well.
What i have been doing is like this:
1.I use AVG anti virus to scan my computer every day,removing some adware or spyware that will destroy my system
2.and then I have another one-spynomore
i use it to spot some spywares that are difficult to find and deal with.
